A series of talks about Speculative and Critical Design, how to challenge the norms through design
- Video 1: The New Frontiers of Design / Design has branched out in new directions, galvanizing young practitioners, sparking novel business models, and attracting worldwide attention. A designer today can choose to focus on interaction, interfaces, the web, visualization, socially minded infrastructures, immersive spaces, biodesign, sustainability, video games, critical scenarios, and, yes, even products and furniture.
- Video 2, 3 & 4: Interviews with Anthony Dunne & Fiona Raby, and Marti Guixe on the exhibition called “Designing Critical Design” at Z33 (Belgium), between March – June, 2007.
- Video 5: Daisy Ginsberg, designer, artist and writer, explores the social, ethical and cultural implications of emerging technologies, especially synthetic biology. Her projects open up a creative space to imagine the potential scientific triumphs and disasters on the horizon.
