The 7th case study: Mamukko bags, stylish, handmade and upcycled

Mamukko bags are produced locally in Ireland, in an artisanal way and with upcycled liferaft. Their innovation consists in rethinking the purpose of a material and applying it outside of its typical domain to transform it into new products with added value. Mamukko’s system is sustainable from a social, environmental and economic point of view, and it’s growing in popularity within the sea industry abroad.
