The evolution of the Design for Sustainability field has broadened its theoretical and practical scope over the years. While the first approaches were focusing predominantly on the technical side, the proceeding ones have recognized the crucial importance of the role of users, the resilience of communities, and more generally of the various actors and dynamics of socio-technical systems.

This is a European project funded by Erasmus+ within the social business and the educational innovation field.
Under the name ‘Circular Design: Learning for Innovative Design for Sustainability’, this initiative will enhance the creation and consumption of sustainable products and services, aligned with European Circular Economy policies.
Soon we will release training materials on Innovative Design for Sustainability (IDfS) strategies, a key selection of resources addressed to students, faculty and companies of the design sector. Stay tuned!
